Philips QL Lamp

Launched in 1991 Philips' QL was the first commercial induction lighting system which offered an exceptionally long service lifetime of 100,000hrs, due to the electrode less design. The QL system is comprised of the light generating discharge vessel, an antenna to couple power into the lamp, and an HF generator to drive the antenna.
